MINISTRIES
City Life NOLA is committed to ministering to the lost and searching in the city of New Orleans. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He commanded His disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:18-20). This still applies to us today. As Christians, our purpose is to glorify God and our mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ so that others can come to know Him.

At City Life NOLA, we love equipping people to use their Bible to lead people to Jesus. We use a process called Discovery Bible Study (DBS). DBS is a simple inductive Bible study process that allows the Spirit of God to use the Word of God to make obedient disciples, who then teach others to do the same. You can learn more about DBS here.
Often, in order to minister to a person’s spiritual needs, we must first meet their physical needs. That’s why we lead a number of ministries here in the New Orleans community. Each ministry provides our team access to the community, giving us an opportunity to build relationships and identify persons of peace, with the goal of starting Discovery Bible Studies.

Access Ministries
By meeting a physical need, we pray that we can build trusting relationships with community members and are able to share the Gospel with them! Some access ministries we engage in are: prayer walking, community clean-up, coffee ministry, hydration ministry, and park ministry. Mission Teams & Volunteer Groups
We love hosting mission teams! We have opportunities for groups to come any time of year. There is always a way to serve! Homeless Ministry
We distribute meals on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM CST at New Orleans Public Library (219 Loyola Ave.) and Saturdays at 10:00 AM CST at Duncan Plaza, to those in need in the New Orleans metropolitan area and have started Discovery Bible Studies in these areas as well as multiple other areas in NOLA. If you are interested in volunteering with us, click the button below.
Kids Ministry
We currently have a children's ministry group that meets in Hammond, LA, led by Matthew and Madison Bourgeois and Tanishia Tinson. They have weekly Bible studies on Tuesdays where students learn more about Jesus in an interactive environment. If you would like to join us by volunteering, or learn more, click on the button below.
